What is the Global Criminalisation Scan?

The Global Criminalisation Scan through its regional partners documents laws, judicial practices and case studies, around the criminalisation of HIV transmission. The Global Criminalisation Scan is the only collection presenting these data on a world wide scale.

The Global Criminalisation Scan is an initiative of GNP+ and partner organisations and aims:

  • To collect and keep up to date information on national or state level laws criminalising the transmission of or exposure to HIV transmission;
  • To provide an easily accessible ‘clearing-house’ of resources, research, and initiatives on the subject;
  • To provide a platform for advocacy initiatives.
